Place: Pierre Cardin's Palais Bulles

Posted on May 17 2015

Angles are the enemy. This is architect Antti Lovag's maxim. His vacation home for designer Pierre Cardin - though not originally constructed for him -  perfectly illustrates his angular aversion. Built strictly in curved organic pods the Palais Bulles - that's Bubble Palace to all you non-Francophiles -  over looks both the Bay of Cannes and the Bay of Nice in Canne, France. Not too shabby. Now throw on a lil Yacht Rock & pour yourself a lil something - a French 75 perhaps - and just imagine that salty ocean air.
More reading about Palais Bulles's history over on Curbed.
