A recent web worm-hole somehow led me to Sarah Andreasson's work. Her vivid use of color and minimal representation of form sucked me right in. Who said a little late night clicking was a waist of time? The Swedish illustrator's work has been featured in everything from Refinery 29 to The New York Times to Rolling Stone. Rightfully so, this gal is down right prolific. Her tumblr is chockfull of witty colorful work centered largely around the blocked human form. As if her visual work weren't enough, Andreasson is the editor of the newly minted mag BBY, a new feminist journal and platform that exclusively collaborates with and celebrates persons who identify as women with a central focus on text, photography, music, illustration and art.
